Orchard Beach is blessed with a combination of amenities unique among the different associations on Catawba Island.
First, the beach itself is the main attraction that draws people here. It is the only sandy beach of sufficient size on the western side of Catawba. Families can enjoy summer outings in the sun, sand, and waves.
Since Orchard Beach lies on the shores of Lake Erie, those living here tend to be boat owners. A lagoon large enough to accommodate several boats exists beyond the beach and park area.
In addition, a large playground with a baseball diamond occupies the interior of the neighborhood.
There are approximately 130 lot owners who often share their communal spirit, especially in the summer time.
